Submission Guidelines

Submissions should be in PDF format. Those which are not will be subject to a file conversion fee. Having the file already in PDF format saves time and preserves the integrity of the document. You can download a file converter here for free.

In order to guarantee the fastest turnaround time, please send the final draft of your transcript. If I receive "sloppy" work which takes longer than normal to proofread, I reserve the right to charge a higher rate.

New clients will be asked to fill out a preference sheet.

Be sure to ask about discounted rates for referrals!

Rates and Schedule

  • 35 cents per page for standard return (3 days)
  • 55 cents per page for rush (48 hours)
  • 75 cents per page for expedited (24 hours*)

*Please inquire about my availability before submitting.

New clients will be billed immediately.

Regular clients will be billed on a bi-weekly basis.

Proofreading Policies

I will return only corrected pages back to you in PDF format. Corrections will be marked directly on the pages in red and bright yellow. Errata sheets are available upon request for an additional fee.

I follow industry-standard guidelines, referencing Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, Gregg Reference Manual, and Margie Wakeman Wells.

I currently do not proofread with audio, but hope to add this option in the future.
